The Most Horrifying Insects On Earth

For the most part insects are more annoying than anything else. But there are some insects out there that seem to have been created from someone’s worst nightmare. Here are some insects you never want to encounter, especially at night in a dark alleyway.

The saddleback caterpillar may look bright, colorful, and make you want to step closer for a better look, but do not dare follow that instinct. That bright coloration is a warning that this critter is not to be messed with. The spines located on numerous areas of their body are extremely venomous. The venom will cause an excruciating rash that you will remember for the rest of your life. What’s worse is that you don’t even have to touch one of these caterpillars to be pricked by their spines, as they shed them all over their environment as they crawl.

Another critter you don’t want to tangle with is the bombardier beetle. Any and all would be attackers can expect to get showered with burning hot chemicals, which the beetle is able to squirt out of its butt with astonishing accuracy. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want toxic, burning hot butt juice sprayed at my face because I got a little too curious.
