A Scorpion Was Found Aboard A Plane–Passengers Panic!
It has been a rough year for United Airlines. There has already been one controversial news story about a man being violently pulled from a seat that he paid for. There was also a lesser-known story that made the rounds on the Internet a couple of months ago, but this time a scorpion was involved. And just when you thought that the worst may be over for United Airlines, another scorpion was reportedly found aboard another plane owned by United Airlines.
For the second time this year a scorpion was found on a plane and caused alarm among the passengers, as you would expect. Apparently, the scorpion was seen crawling out of the clothing that a passenger was wearing, but the passenger was unaware of the scorpion’s presence. Paramedics promptly examined the passenger, but luckily, there was no evidence suggesting that the passenger had been stung. The plane was departing out of Houston and was bound for Ecuador. However, the flight was delayed by three and a half hours as a result of the whole scorpion fiasco.
Once the scorpion emerged from the passenger’s clothing, the flight to Quito, Ecuador was immediately ordered to return to the gate, much to the disappointment of the passengers aboard. This incident, which occurred last Thursday, was the second scorpion-related incident that has occurred on board a United flight in less than a month. Just last month a passenger on board a United Airlines flight was actually stung by a scorpion after it fell from an overhead compartment and onto a person’s head. United Airlines has been the target of much criticism lately after a passenger was violently kicked off a flight in order to make room for a United Airlines employee. This second incident involving a scorpion has certainly not helped to improve the airlines worsening reputation.
